I've been wearing combat boots for nearly thirty years, most of those were McRae boots. So, I was very excited to try these. They are very, very comfortable, also very light, they appear well made and durable and are of course, 670-1 compliant. But McRae is clearly using a different last to build these and the sizing is totally off from all my other McRae boots. I sent the first pair back (too short) and ordered a half size larger. Still too short, so I quit. There are so many quality combat boot makers out there now, there is no reason to play size guessing games with these.
