Great fit and quality... would buy again.I purchased a men's size 10 boot which shipped from the UK. At first viewing, I was surprised that the boot was marked as size 9, but soon realized that the sizing was using the UK standard, not the US size standard. However, trying them on proved that the UK size 9 and my desired US size 10 are one in the same. For me, the fit and comfort of the boot was great. I have narrow feet and these boots seem narrower than US market boots which fit me perfectly. Wide feet might not be well suited to this boot. With a medium thickness wool sock, the boot length was great and I still had a little toe room left. These boots have a strap at the top of the shaft to provide some tightening if desired, but it was generous enough for my 15.5 inch calves to fit with pants tucked in. There is no gusset to allow any calf expansion, so note that for at least the size 10, the shaft diameter is approximately 16.5 inches. Those with wider calves won't find the boot wearable. The boots have a nice lining, but they are not insulated. The soft, natural rubber seems of good quality as well. As it is winter, I have only worn them around the house, but will look forward to wearing them this spring to better judge the quality and wear of the boot. So far, I'm impressed and am very happy with them.I ordered a size 11, however Barbour sent me what I assumed was a UK size 10. They fit great, even with regular socks. They are lightweight and very comfortable even without socks. I just ordered a $500 pair of Le Chameau Chasseur zip Wellingtons, they are heavier than the Barbours and leather lined, but the Bede boot is perfect for all seasons wet weather, would buy another pair.These were a gift for a very particular man. He is very happy with them and told me that he can tell they are well made. They have some support that most rubber boots do not.Good price, speedy delivery, great fit and very comfortableUs ethem for powerwashing, and will be snow boots for winter with insulated socksGot them for a gift and my step son said they were perfectNice boots to wear during this rainy weather.I've updated this review for a 6 month update. Sadly these boots deteriorated quickly. I think the sole is too thin and has soft rubber so the boots both wore quickly on the sole and developed a crack on the sole letting water in (I have tried to mend the hole, second picture). I haven't actually worn these boots for the whole 6 months, possibly 3-4 months and again not every day. So for the price I'm disappointed in the deterioration and noticed other comments indicating the same. Sadly I cannot recommend this productI have always bought Hunters. Now these are made in China I thought it important to support UK industryWhat a mistake. The lineing of the right boot wore through in two weeks of walking the dog through the woods. Im not best pleased as most of my walking is on grass, so i feel that 12 months is not a good return for the price. Sadly i will not be buying these again.ORIGINAL I'm size 9 in pretty much all footwear, however i had to order a size 10 in these to have a chance to get my foot past the ankle. Once on they are comfortable and lightweight. Clocked up a winter's worth of mixed terrain waking and had no problems.Bought these end of December 2018. Worn on wet days for no more than an hour a day mix of pavement and fields.By August 2019 they had worn out sole and heel worn down to such an extent that they have started leaking.UTTER WASTE OF MONEYNot even continual use on a daily basis over the short period I had them should have resulted in this except to prove poor quality.Bought for my husband less than a year ago on. July 2020. They are letting water in. I am. Gob smacked that this is happening with barbour merchandise. Usually very good but not these wellingtons. I have contacted the seller.
