I have tried a number of shoe inserts, and I think these are excellent, and very reasonably priced. I say this after buying two ABEO P.R.O shoes with "custom" inserts where my feet were measured by a pressure pad at the Walking Company Store. I paid $150 for a pair of shoes with "custom" inserts for arch support and one foot with metatarsal support. The store charges $89 for extra inserts. Outrageous! I appreciate that these inserts are 1) REAL LEATHER!, breathable, durable, soft, leather. 2) the arch supports are firm and don't break down. Yes, this takes a little getting used to, but I have decided this is better than the squishy ones for me. 3) the metatarsal support feels good. I am a woman with a medium width foot. I ordered the men's size because I read the inserts run narrow, and that is true. I trimmed the toe down easily with kitchen shears. Perfect! I almost never bother to write reviews, but I am writing this one because I came on-line to order 2 more inserts, and I want people to buy them so the company will keep making them!
